Only through faith can you move God.

The atheist has a faith to believe that Jesus will not come again. I have a faith to believe that He will.

Let our faith in God, not our confidence in guns, win for us.

Faith in God brings peace of mind.

If you have the gospel in your mind, you will have it in your speech.

The gospel gives you the assurance that if you are right, you’ll win.

The gospel chastens and corrects.

No matter what happens, I am not ashamed of the gospel.

When you have been born again, you’ve been delivered from the power and penalty of sin.

Holiness is clean from home to the Church, and from the Church back home.

With the Spirit of God, you still have power to think your way, but you don't have power to have your way.

Don’t get in God’s way; get with God and work His way.

You can’t go the wrong way and end up at the right place.

Always be in the way so God can use you.

The way you think is the way you will go—if you are not going right, change your way of thinking.

The truth has no influence over you as long as your heart will not receive it.

If ever there was a time to be concerned, it is now.

You should cultivate a real acquaintance with the Lord.

Make the Lord so big in your eye that you won’t be able to see anything else.

When you come into the Church and don’t live right, you are worse than people outside the Church.

God can’t endorse a thief, a liar, or a drunkard any more then you can if you are a gentleman or a lady.

God is different from other paymasters. He gives you what you earn, and sends it to you when it is due.

When God commands, no argument is tenable.

You can’t know God by worldly wisdom; you know Him only by revelation.

We know God exists because His works are perfect and man can’t duplicate or destroy

them.

When God is Opposed, the devil is on the Job.

There is no intelligence above God.

If you are not wise in your religion, you are a fool in your business.

Wisdom cannot abide where sin hides.

Obtain wisdom by watching fools.

The wisdom of man leads to destruction; the wisdom of God leads to life eternal.

Anything you give most of your attention to over God is an idol.

Don’t read the Bible just to be able to explain it; but rather to pattern your life by its teachings.

If God can make beautiful bodies out of dust, we should make beautiful lives out of our bodies.

The grave is not the end of man. It is the end of man’s activities on earth.

Know men by the way they live, not by the clothes they wear.

My spiritual man must be fed or my natural man will kill him.

Salvation is not sure without the Holy Spirit.

The world craves for something that satisfies. We have found it in God.

Don’t try to save your money. Try to save your soul.

Do not speak beyond your ability to do; do not promise beyond your power to act.

Take a stand with God, not with people.

The Lord won’t take a chew of tobacco from your mouth, but He will take away the appetite if you will keep the tobacco out of your mouth.

Don’t measure your chance of heaven by the size of your church, but measure it by the way you live.

There will be no churches in heaven, and no revivals in hell.

If you want to make yourself at home in heaven, you will have to keep in good company down here.

When God takes His hand of protection from you, your judgment turns backward, and you’ll love that which destroys you.

A lie might get you by for a while, but hope of an ultimate triumph can be found only in the truth.

In The Church Of God, we don’t want the spirit of liberty to die, nor the spirit of hypocrisy to live.

The devil is a great ventriloquist: don’t be his dummy.

It is essential that you know the devil, for if you don’t know him, he will make you think that he is God.

If the devil hasn’t anything in you, he can’t get anything out of you.

The devil started the sin business. So those who sin are in business with the devil.

Don’t let sin be preeminent. If you don’t kill sin, it will kill you.

You can forsake all of your sins right now in your mind, and then follow it up afterwards in your action.

It is not up to you to show that you have power with God, but to show that God has power with you.

Any power that is not ordained of God is a figurehead.

You need power to live above sin.

In the arms of Jesus you are safe, no matter what happens.

I am still standing strong for righteousness.

A lot of people have religion but no salvation.

What the world needs more than an industrial revival is a spiritual awakening.

As the ship is in the ocean, and the ocean is not in the ship, so you be in the world— but don’t let the world be in you.

God gave the world to the first Adam, but he fooled around with the devil and lost it

What a family! God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost, and you—all one!

The Word of God is to build the home and bind the family.

We do not believe that God is a distant relative—He is our Father.

When we hear the Word of God, we should lay aside our own thoughts.

If you heart is right, let no one’s indifference affect you.

People are spending thousands of dollars seeking to be happy when there in one cheap way to be happy—and that is by obeying God.

Angels are not your example because they fell, but Christ who never sinned is.

You sing, “Jesus Paid It All.” Don’t forget the other part, “All To Him I Owe.”

You are saved by the life of Christ, and you are redeemed by His death.

Speak to correct, not to offend.

The Lord is not correcting your body when He chastises you. He is correcting your spirit.

If you want to be strong spiritually, you must take a little of God mentally as you go along

physically.

The gospel is preached to change your way of thinking.

Dirty hands will mess up anything.

Your life can’t be straight without a straight gospel.

People who represent God must be respected and respectable.

Don’t let your aim in the earth cause you to miss the kingdom of heaven.

When you make a mistake, go back and correct it. That is perfection.

Doctors are all right but their mistakes are fatal. I’d rather trust God.

Nothing strengthens the mind like confidence in God.

The day has come now when you can trust no one but God.

Material blessings are for all; spiritual blessings are only for the saints.

You’ll have to be thankful for the little before you’ll be blessed with the much.

Ask God to bless you that you might be a blessings; after He blesses you, don’t cheat.

To make another happy is to be happy yourself.

Condemnation keeps you from being free.

Wealth does not consist of gold, but rather in a clear conscience and a peaceful mind.

It is the torment of condemnation that causes man to turn to God.

Though we live on earth, we must keep in touch with heaven.

That which you love most, you’ll make first. Love God.

You know the touch of love the moment you feel it. The loving touch of God surpasses all.

The body will see corruption regardless of the care you give it. So let’s feed the soul that will live forever.

If you don’t die, Christ can’t live.

The sweetest walk one ever took was with the Lord.

Let your judgment turn you before your wrong deeds burn you.

Without God, the judgment of man will turn backward, and he’ll destroy that which he has painstakingly built.

You may dodge the issue here, but you won’t be able to dodge it in the judgment.

God’s favor rests upon the faithful.

Don’t lose faith in God; He still lives though great men die.

If you go down, go down with faith and you will get up with victory.

If you do not believe that Jesus rose from the dead, don’t join the church.

If you are married to one woman, you cannot please everybody.

When husband and wife love each other, they will work their problems out. But

when they don’t, they will fight it out.

Don’t live like two old alley cats. Have you forgotten all the honey you spread

while courting?

God confirms your righteousness by His presence.

God gets the glory for every noble hing that a saint does.

Righteousness will exalt you. Just keep on practicing it.

No one comes to destruction without first being warned by God.

The secret of your strength lies in your obedience to God.

Whatever you use your tongue for, let it be to magnify the Lord.

When God isn’t in the midst of every family, the devil is.

What a family! God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost, and you—all one!

The Word of God is to build the home and bind the family.

You cannot be helped with flattery. You must know the truth.

The flesh is funny—it is always working backwards.

Loose flesh never behaves itself.

The trouble with the world today is that man has forgotten God.

We aim to discourage everyone who is doing wrong.

Nothing appears to be wrong with the world.

Nothing wrong can be covered, except with the blood of Jesus.

Let God have your body; He can take care of it better than you can.

You can’t get near God by hanging around folks who don’t know Him.

Nothing fills the aching void in the breast of the human being like God.

The World just doesn’t know, but the saint can’t lower his standard or the world will never know.

No trouble to get people up to a worldly standard; but let us influence them to reach a spiritual standard.

If you are saved, your children should be affected by your life.

God can’t change His Word; you must change your mind.

All my life, I’ve never seen any change in God’s love.

Teach your child to honor God and he will never fail to honor you.

Build a righteous foundation for your children and they will never want.

If God can make beautiful bodies out of dust, we should make beautiful lives out of our bodies.

To be in the Church and to be born again are two different things.

When you’ve been born again, you’ve been delivered.

People won’t believe in love until those who talk about God will show love.

Love your brother when he is in need, like you do when you are in need.

When folks love you, you can get whatever they have.

Money is alright, but it is better to be secured by love when marrying.

The difference between zeal and ambition is: zeal will work itself to death for nothing, while ambition seeks something.

The only way that I can help folks to be better is to let them know how bad they are.

If you don’t do that which elevates you, you will degenerate.

Get with Christ that you might have power over the devil.

To keep your heart true, you have to practice doing right.

When you meet people who love to praise God, you love to be in their company.

There is unlimited power in oneness.

Never allow anyone to make you angry, for that would make him your master.

Shame those who mistreat you by being nice to them.

The kingdom of heaven is to enter into you before you are to enter into it.

It is wonderful how powerful the blood of Jesus is.

God doesn’t call you from work; He calls you to work.

The only time the world cares about you is while you can keep up with it.

Don’t number the people, for your strength is not in people.

Folks like to be glorified with you, but they don’t care much about suffering with you.

There is no security in anyone but the man who stands.

Love is manifested only in deeds.

Love divine makes the face shine.

If you want to be loved, be lovely.

Be careful less the hard things you have to press against in life harden you.

A heathen is a man who doesn't know God, even though he might live among godly people.

There is no mercy in the heart of the heathen.

Every heart that loves God is attuned to sing His praises.

In God’s Church, hearts are bound together by love, not cement.

If I compromise, you’ll have no light and I’ll have no life.

If you get vision, you can see beyond the cloud.

The only way that you can serve God is to serve one another.

Sin is a hell-bound express with no local stops.

You can’t serve God without a mind to be perfect.

Where there is rebellion, there is every evil work.

God doesn't have any rebellious children.

If you rebel in time of peace, you can't be depended upon in time of war.

When a person fights righteousness, he is either doing wrong himself or has sympathy for wrong in others.
