It is a blessing to be free today; free to live a life without the power of sin, flesh and the devil.

On last Friday evening, we were lead to speak on the very hot subject and the very first question was, (because others were moving a little slow in asking a question) “Who Is God?” We asked this question to bring into focus the importance of God the Father and Maker of us all.

In our Question and Answer evening, we always enjoy hearing from the congregation and what they are thinking. The Elder Michaux, our Founder would do this from time to time; allowing the congregation to ask questions and then he would as lead by the Holy Spirit of God, respond. So we have found this to be very effective and important to the spiritual growth of the Congregation.

We invite you to participate as well, whenever there is a question, send it over to us and by the power of the Holy Ghost, we will do our best to give an understand, if you will only consider what we say. Amen??? Amen!!!

Love to you all,

The Pastor

Past Question & Answer Service

November 2009

Summary:

Sister Afton had asked about burials and cremations; what was the church stand on that, and we refer her to the burial of Christ. Jesus spoke of it, The Apostle Paul spoke of it, so the teachings of the Church is the same, we bury, and not cremate.

We spoke a bit about the Prophet of God, which was our sermon from that past Sunday. How important a Prophet is to the existence of the people of God. God brought the Children of Israel up out of the land of Egypt and He preserved them by a Prophet. The same is true today, because He only speaks to His servants the prophets as is stated in Amos 3:7.

We also looked at how a prophet is established to be a prophet of God, by his words not losing power, but is fulfilled, when spoken. As you read St. John 2:5, how the mother of Jesus told the servants that were there to do whatsoever He saith unto you. He told them to fill the pots with water, they did, and afterwards He told them to draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast.

Now if you notice He told them "now", you see the wine that one would think of today, takes time to be wine. They filled the waterpots with water and when the ruler had tasted the wine that Jesus had caused to be, it was better than that which went before. Interesting isn't it??? I'll say that it is!!! This which He did established Him to be a man that one could lean and depend on for words of wisdom.
